Our Specialists
Below is a list of our alternative health care specialists who have helped make the Wellness Center into what it is today. Over the past 20 years we've worked with some amazing doctors, therapists and specialists, and we wanted to include a brief bio of each along with their photo so you'll recognize the friendly face who will greet you on your first visit to our healing center.
Qualifications and credentials are included, but there's a lot more than just a diploma on the wall with our staff. They truly care about the well-being of their patients in a very personal way. Their passion and experience has helped forge our basic principle of treating each of our patient's kindly, and individual to their unique and specific needs.
RICK BARRACK, D. C., F.A.C.O.
Dr. Barrack graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1976. He pursued further studies in "Chiropractic Orthopedics" at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and attained diplomat status in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1985. It was following these studies that he incorporated the exercise component of his practice. He is well respected and his opinions are sought out by both the medical community, the insurance industry and employers.
CRAIG HELLER, D.C.
Dr. Heller graduated from University of Santa Barbara in 1993 and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1996. He attained post doctoral certification as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 1998. He has been practicing with Dr. Barrack since 1997 and has become the "go to" guy in our clinic for extremity injuries such as knees, shoulders and ankles.
DANIEL POSTULKA, D.C.
Dr. Postulka graduated from San Diego State in 1981. He graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1984 Magna Cum Laude. He is licensed in the State of California as a Qualified Medical Evaluator. He has done many extra courses in both management of work injuries and auto injuries. He enjoys a family practice treating all ages.
GIANNE BRINTWOOD, D.C.
Dr. Brintwood graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1992 and brings almost 20 years of knowledge, impeccable bed-side manner and top-notch health care expertise to the Wellness Center. She is a family practice chiropractor who has great success treating headaches, back pain, TMJ disorders, carpal tunnel problems, posture problems, athletic injuries and the specialty of giving proper care to pregnant women. She is a passionate lecturer and available to any organizations, etc. for speaking.
AMY ROGERS-CAVENDER, L. Ac.
Amy earned a Bachelor or Arts in Biology from California State University at Northridge before entering the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. There she earned a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has also studied at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. Her personal website is: www.amyneedles.com.
NANCY MARIE "ANANDA" STEVENSON, L. Ac.
She graduated from Pacific College in San Diego. Ananda Stevenson has an extensive history being an Acupuncturist and herbalist, she has a gentle caring nature, treating the whole person with oriental medicine. MAUREEN BARRACK
Maureen manages the office. She has worked with her husband for over 30 years. She can answer your general questions about the office, chiropractic, insurance, the art exhibits or anything else you come up with. She changes light bulbs too!
SHERRIE RUNYON
Sherrie is our Insurance Specialist. This is the toughest job in our facility. She does her best to find out benefits for our patients. She is resourceful and has more than 30 years of experience.
URSULA ZEKAS/MEGHAN FREDETTE
Ursula supervises our Rehabilitation Department. She graduated from Chapman University with a degree in Psychology and received her Associate in Science in Physical Therapy and is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. Meghan Fredette is a recent graduate from Pacific University with a major in Exercise Science with emphasis in Integrative Physiology.
TRESSAH KENNINGTON
Tressah acts as our "Patient Liaison". She checks insurance benefits and helps patients with other aspects of care such as coordinating the doctor and patient treatment programs. She has seven years of experience in the chiropractic field and has attended numerous seminars on administrative protocols. Feel free to call her with your questions.
LORI MUNGER, H.H.P., R.Y.T.
Lori is a Holistic Health Practitioner as well as a registered Yoga Teacher. She combines over 20 years of Holistic Health training and practice with certifications in Clinical Nutrition and the use of state of the art BioMeridian Stress Assessment technology to help formulate nutritional protocols. Through interviews, questionnaire and observation she will make recommendations from her tool kit to help enable your will power to change to a healthier lifestyle and add a little more joy to your journey!
